Hello, dear prospective client. I am very pleased to hear you are interested in MOTORcheckUP and would like more information about its development and some background.
I am often asked: how did you get this ingenious idea?
I got the idea while watching a demonstration about cleaning of fat and juices from roasts (kitchen oils etc.) This involved a very thick filter paper which was supposed to clean kitchen oils. The inventor wanted to take out a patent for this process but there was no opportunity to do so.
I let the idea mature that something else could possibly be done with this effect, and so, over the course of a few years the basic idea was born. To utilise the motor oil to look inside the motor, the same as the doctor does with a patient’s blood.
The realisation of the idea
It all sounds very simple. The development and then the application for a product safety tested by the TUV SUD took about six years. First of all the right paper had to be found.
Then began a time when I spent about 150 day in a laboratory, trying to find the correct solution. Many avenues had to be rejected but then the correct solution emerged. Based on the fact that I had studied marketing and communication, and had acquired a lot of knowledge about print and paper, the solution (as always) became simple.
Application for patent and TUV SUD examination followed, also setbacks with firms who wanted to market the product. Today I am proud to be working with many strong and honest partners. You might almost say: they increase on a daily basis. The successes provide increasingly new and applications and markets. During the development stage I have already found a new ground breaking method.
A large part of success was my consequent introduction of the products to experts. This did not produce a large turnover but the reputation grew. MOTORcheckUP is being used by experts and guilds of many different areas as conclusive fast test. By now it also has a well-founded level of relevance at court proceedings.
